Eat that Frog

Last week I heard a Mark Twain quote that says “Eat a live frog first thing in the morning, and nothing worse will happen to you for the rest of the day.” I thought it to be brimming with humor and relevance, regarding our relationship to practice. If we can develop the disciple, strength, and courage to eat that frog ( TO DO OUR PRACTICE 🙂 ) first thing in the morning, then we are far more equipped to face, fix, heal, or celebrate whatever the day may bring. We have a responsibility to drop our camouflage– to take the vitality, charisma, and clarity of vision that our practice gives us, and to live openly, brightly, and forthrightly. We are in an era of extinction, and we must participate, actively, in the regeneration, renovation, and reconstruction, of a new way, a new human, & a new world. We have to hold the torch high, and find the prism of belonging, of this time. May this choreography of dynamic meditations leave you lit from within, as it sensitizes the kaleidoscope of your outlook. May it steady you, and fortify your determination, grace, and readiness to conquer any inner doubts or insecurities.
