Mantra Meditation – for Sensitizing the Heart

You will discover two meditations in this session, that will help you take off the adult armor, and soften into the sweetness, of pure being. This sweetness is what we call Amrita, and it is found when we let go of all the efforting & access effortlessness, trust, and greater surrender, in the mundane moments & in every great turning. These are deeply generative practices that weave mantra, mudra, & creative movement, to bring up the light of a clear and clarified mind. In a time when so much feels out of control, we can challenge ourselves to control the way we respond to what is happening. Excavate the inner beauty, circulate it through your system, and upgrade your frequency, for this is how we can find so much exquisite power, to intersect with the signs of life, to untie the lifejacket, and experience the fathomless depths of the living heart. Practice… to embody sensitivity, as a witness, and to then deliver it, to the world, as a committed participant.

The Blue Flower – Practices for Self Love

Inside this session we dip into some IP classics that are exquisite for escaping the cage of self-doubt and diving into self-love. Even the simple act of acknowledging doubt, is an action step that can grant us vitality in the paradox, and position us, with a spirit of play, to be hyper resilient. Uncover your natural happiness, that is your original, foundation of fullness. A happiness that needn’t be ‘practiced’ rather, it is discovered, when we untether from the ego, & surrender into the poetic aura of the heart– free of performance, mask, or struggle. Now is the time to awaken our love that is lying dormant. Our love for life, for one another, for ourselves, for this magnificent planet, & for the path of reclamation, healing, and growth. Now is the time to soften into sovereignty, to step aside from duplicity, to be at home in being, and to take the last half step, into the mystery beyond the mind. When you feel like you simply haven’t the time to be a practitioner, make the whole of your life your practice, be a self-charging battery, knowing a heart-centric, freedom and focus, on every in-breath, that is lifting you up toward the most powerful, authentic version of yourself.

MAGNUM OPUS – GONG + BREATHWORK

It’s been over a month since I’ve published one of our gong meditations, & I’m thrilled your here, to take the ride, as I feel you will find it to be a real vehicle. We start with some power center breath techniques that will shift your attention from me to we, & from head to heart. Breathing that will soothe the nervous system, and align you with your innate, spontaneous unfoldment, & with your intrinsic happiness, that need not be practiced, but rather discovered. Utilize this session to cultivate presence and an internal alchemy for shifting from personhood into the vastness of consciousness, & to experience of the beauty of being completely and absolutely open to the moment. Witness your perpetual wisdom, exceeding words, nameless, timeless, & regeneratively available as a great expansive elaboration on inner emptiness.

UNSUBSCRIBE FROM FEAR – QIGONG FOR YOUR LIVING EDGE

Inside this practice you will find a prescriptive choreography of forms for loving our way through fear. Fear is a massive force, and we have all experienced how it can freeze frame us, in an instant. We were not put here, on this planet to live in fear, and the good news is, movement is the enemy of fear, it takes us into the living edge, and allows us to transform, transfigure, and transmute the static energies that disturb us. These dynamic, integral meditations will catalyze an involution, evolution, and revolution, in your nervous system, blood, organs, bio-chemistry, and emotions. Nothing changes if nothing changes, & things can’t move in your life, if your life energy isn’t moving, so dive into the place where your comfort zone ends, and challenge any complacency you may be experiencing. Remember, no risk, no magic… I promise you, this flow will pull your joy up to the surface. You will find yourself encouraged to play, & to breath in symbiosis with the world, while strengthening your muscle of coming back, and coming back, and coming back again, a patient approach to the path of practice. It is through our consistency and repetition that we develop a relationship to the practice, & to know how to pace ourselves, and how to rest, so that we don’t quit. Through this consistency, mastery grows, homeostasis blossoms, and infinite creativity surges. Tap into the antidotal forms of monkey, deer, bear, and leopard… a remarkable synergy for self reflection, self correction, & exquisite restoration.

A CUP OF TEA – PRACTICES FOR OPENING THE HEART

I’m so happy you’ve made your way to this message, welcome!! I invite you in for a mid-winter session, to hear the story about tea time with the old zen master, and why it’s so important to engage in practices that empty our cup. This month we are tending to the heart, and the unlimited creativity, coherence, & clarity that arises when excesses and negativity are expelled. Zenergize, through this replenishing choreography of meditations. Feel into the relational field, as the earth begins to express her first indications of spring, even if her songs are still deep within. Discover the same kind of insatiable desires to move, regenerate, & renew, in your own human terrain. Even just a few meditative moments will imprint the whole order of your day, for each moment is an exquisite recalibration, and a de-activation of the trauma body. Moments for releasing some of the suppressed or unresolved energy that is so rampant in our somatic realities at the moment. The work of Integrative Practices is designed to allure your body, mind, and spirit into homeostasis… balancing your energy field, cooling your mind if its chaotic, & getting you out of survival mode. It will elevate your cognitive function, and hone your capacity to Self Regulate, which is a golden key, to be used not only when you are stressed out, but as a tool for everyday joyful living. Come, put your heart against the earth with me, and let the light that made our universe, enter your sinew.

STEWARDS OF CONTINUITY – PRACTICES FOR SELF TRUST

One of the many many contributions that Aristotle made to humanity, was the idea of the Entelechy, which is an incredible allurement, when we let it be so. The Entelechy is the version of you that is fully ripened, formed, & characterized by a wisdom that reaches back to the dawn of time. If you had been buffing and polishing yourself, for 1000 years, just imagine how reliable & grounded you would be. In this way, you would most likely be the wise sage you would turn to, in any situation requiring reflection. You would be the one to trust, for you would have been well shapened, adjusted, & attuned, by the great journey of time. Just imagine the quality and consistency of your self knowledge, after so many years of working the template of selfhood. Just imagine your understanding of patience, your welcoming of silence, your ease with joy, your ability to feel the deepest grooves in the human experience. Just imagine your profound connection to the whole of nature and the rhythmic cyclicality of beingness. Even just simply turning your attention toward this, as a possibility, can get you feeling connected to something bigger, something higher, something wiser, and something that is within you, fully, now. In this practice we soothe the nervous system, and melt into the embodied elegance of the entelechy. These are practices for taking that leap of faith, into an expanded perceptual reality, into the elongation & extension of your breath’s capacity, & into the activation of your aspirations. Go into the inside of your inside, into the movements that stir your depths, feeling for the shoots that call you into expression as a steward of continuity. Find your signature pleasure, & your primal creative voice. See beyond the particular ways life has trained you… and welcome in another way, that is not so other, and that involves no othering. Find your myth, and the story your consciousness really wishes to tell, every time you think or speak.

STAY COURAGEOUS, STAY SOFT, STAY HUMAN.

WE ARE ALREADY THE ONES WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR.

FEEDING THE WINDHORSE – PRACTICES FOR INNER VASTNESS

For the past many years, on this long walk to freedom, I have kept the tandem concepts of Windhorse and Drip, in the pocket over my heart. These are ideas that have emerged from the rich history and culture of the Tibetan people, and when abided by, will lead the practitioner toward an experience of uncluttered liberation. The Drip represents all the ways in which we are stagnating or loosing energy. Drip shows up in all the messes that needs attention, as an absence of accountability, as the pile of procrastination, as the apology that hasn’t been expressed yet, as the secret stash of addiction food. The drips keep us from being vibrant, alive, and here now, in the magnificence of fullness. Each of us have some kind of drip, and we must attend to the drips in order to get into the Windhorse energy. This is the front-facing, embodied state of strength, inspiration, & ability to run– free of obstacles, aligned with future responsibilities, & in synchronicity with the goals & visions that are calling. There are boundless ways to nurture the windhorse state, imbuing ourselves with wellbeing, and fueling a prosperous attitude. Every time we take time to practice, we feed the windhorse, we raise the energy of freedom, we expand, & we break the shell of habituation. Use the practices inside this session, to cultivate an elevated relational dynamic with inner and outer vastness, like the wide open tundra, like a mind as big as the sky, & in a powerful landscape for your windhorse to be in its elemental flow.

RESILIENCY – FOR GIVING LIFE TO LIFE

This month we have been spotlighting upon focus, efficiency, & resiliency, as some of our primary muse points. Whether through the work of the breath, internal gazing, a qigong flow, sound current, or integrative thinking, it’s all geared toward getting us set to mobilize… to do what we say, and to say what we do, and to have enough energy reserved that we are resilient. Resiliency in, our context, is the experience of having a longer fuse, it is the quality of being anti-fragile, so when life rubs up against us, we are less inclined to protect, defend, and wither at the post, and more robust with taking the action steps, and rising to the occasion of the moment. In the mantra practice found inside, we set up the inner conditions for soothing & slowing down, and for toggling from the sympathetic nervous system into parasympathetic dominance, in a deep and heart-felt manner.

The Uncommon Branch – Practices for Cultivating the Observer

Each of us have two birds within, the first of which is the busy little bird, building the nest of life. It is the taking care of good business bird, the generator bird, the mobilizing, manifesting, get it done bird, busy with the world of ten thousand things. The second bird, our uncommon bird, is the observer bird. How easy it is, though, to be so driven, at one hundred miles and hours, into the pinnacle of every point of purpose, that we forget it to even be there. In this practice, we fly up to the uncommon branch, where the second bird is perched, taking in the slow & complete design of existence, from an elevated angle. To observe is to witness the reality of what is, not what we think should be, or what we wish would be, but what is, as it is. Observation doesn’t include thinking, it doesn’t involve comparison, it is free from judgement, it requires no additional information, and had no desire to eliminate anything either. So, in that way, we can rest & digest, even if for only a moment, as the observer, in a kind of unborn awareness, with timeless wide eyes to see.

“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands, but in seeing with new eyes.”

– Marcel Proust
